| Explosions Wound Two Government Soldiers in Mogadishu |

At least two government soldiers were wounded in pasts of Hamar Jajab district in the Somali capital Mogadishu overnight, witnesses and officials told Shabelle radio on Tuesday. Residents of Waberi district in the capital told Shabelle radio that unidentified men armed with grenades had attacked at a police station in Afisyone neighborhood in Hamar-jajab district in Mogadishu injuring two soldiers who were in the areas. Some government officials who declined their names to be imprint also confirmed the casualties of the soldiers that caused the blasts occurred there, but locals said that more government troops had reached at the scene where the blasts happened and conducted operations there. They said the troops opened fire as they reached the zone and it is unclear the real casualties of the explosions which seems to be part of the a string of blasts often targeted to the government officials in Mogadishu. It was yesterday when heavy explosions used for vehicles filled with explosives targeted to the military vehicles of the state minister of the transitional Federal government of Somalia Sheik Yusuf Mohamded Siad (Inda'ade) in the capital who lastly escaped, but caused casualties of deaths and injuries. |
