BULO-BURDE (DIIRAD.COM) - An enormous explosion was reported to have rocked at al-shabab military base in Bulo-Burde town of Hiran region in central Somalia on Sunday night according to eyewitnesses.

Locals indicate that the blast went off inside al-shabab military bases in the town overnight, but it could not be independently verified the exact casualties sustained al-shabab fighters in the areas.

Residents of the town confirm that the blast detonated to the base of al-shabab could be heard across the villages of the town and shook homes where the group has a number of military bases.

Medical officials in Bulo Burde town also say they have received a number of injures deployed from exploded zone and currently getting medical treatment in the hospitals of the town.

Al-shabab fighters with military vehicles began operations in the area after the blast that they arrested many people blamed to be behind the explosion as residents saying.
